Thanks for visiting our Active Mothers Together (AMT) blog. We are two busy mums who love to keep each other motivated to be physically active. Let’s start by saying we have a lot in common:  we both have three children, we love a good laugh and we both love champagne!

Our fitness journeys began back in 2013. After the births of our middle children, and seeing some not so flattering photos of ourselves, we decided it was time to start working on feeling better about us. As mums we focus so much time and energy on other people’s needs, it was time to focus on our own health and well-being. We started with Thursday morning walks pushing our babies in their prams. As we walked together we saw our fitness levels increase and we realised that this had a flow on effect to the rest of our lives. Of course the journey has not always been easy. We’ve both had our setbacks:  injuries, other commitments and a third pregnancy each, but we’ve looked to each other to get back on the road to fitness.
